TR Get Kor

Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play

The one app you open when you go out.

What's on tonight, who's out right now, which spots are buzzing — in one feed and one calm map. From morning coffee to the last set of the night.

Only to tell you when we launch. Nothing else, ever.

How it works
Kor map, night theme: venues with kors in a fire ring, events in violet
Kor feed, “East Village is buzzing tonight”: an event with its poster, venues buzzing right now
Kor venue page: 2 kors lit, people there and the I’m here · Light a kor button

How it works

Three steps. The night does the rest.

  1. Open it, look.

Kor opens with “what’s on right now”, not a map: tonight’s events, places that are buzzing, and friends who said where they’re headed.

  2. Pick, go.

Tap a poster to see the time, the place and where tickets are sold. Say “I’m going” so your friends know.

  3. Made it? Light a kor.

Within 300 meters of the venue you light a kor: “I’m here.” If you like, you can also say you’re open to meeting new people.

Tonight

It opens with “right now”.

The feed follows the time of day. Open it in the evening and the nearest event is on top, then places with kors lit right now, then this week’s stage and an hour-by-hour agenda.

  • Right now: venues with kors lit, how many, and how far.
  • This week on stage: with the poster, the day and the venue.
  • People you follow: a friend with a kor lit shows a fire ring.

Kors · right now

A kor means “I’m here”.

When you get to a place, you light a kor. That venue lights up on the map and in the feed: people are there right now. A kor burns for 1, 2 or 3 hours, then goes out on its own.

300 m

Only when you’re there

A kor can only be lit within 300 meters of the venue. Not from home, not from across the street.

1 km

Masked from afar

People farther away don’t see who is there — only the venue and how many kors are lit.

Your call

Open to meeting?

Say you’re open and people nearby can message you. If you don’t, nobody can.

Light kors, earn badges — 100 of them, all shown on your profile.

Events

What’s on stage tonight, poster and all.

Concerts, DJ nights, stand-up, game nights — with the time, the venue and the poster. Tickets are always bought on the event’s own ticketing page.

  • Hour-by-hour agenda: times that have passed drop off.
  • Say “I’m going” and your friends see it; the card shows how many are going.
  • Violet always means an event: planned, with tickets.

Map

A calm map.

Nothing on the map shouts. Quiet venues are faint dots; your eye goes to just two things: places with kors lit, and events.

  • Venue with korsA fire ring and the kor count. Visible at every zoom.
  • 8 PM
EventA violet pill with the time and venue. This week’s are fainter.
  • Quiet venueA faint dot, no label. Its name appears as you zoom in.

Morning to night

It changes with the time you open it.

In the morning it shows coffee nearby and today’s events, at midday lunch spots, in the evening the places that are buzzing and the stage. The theme turns with the day too: light from 7 AM to 7 PM, night after that.

  • 6–12MorningCoffee nearby, the day’s first event.
  • 12–5DaytimeLunch, today and this week.
  • 5–6EveningRight now, tonight hour by hour.

Safety and privacy

The rules are in the code.

These aren’t toggles in settings; they’re how the app works.

Your location is masked

Nobody sees your coordinates, only the venue you’re at. People more than 1 km away don’t see who — only the kor count.

The 300 m rule

A kor can only be lit within 300 meters of the venue. Nobody can claim “I’m there” from afar.

You choose who can write

You can only be messaged while a kor you marked “open to meeting” is lit, and only from within 1 km.

No “seen”

The other person never sees whether you’ve read their message. No pressure to reply.

Block, report

Blocking needs no reason. Accounts you report are reviewed by the team.

18 and over

Kor is closed to anyone under 18. Our child safety standards are published separately. Child safety standards

For venues

Kor Nokta: your venue’s own pulse.

  • How many kors are lit right now, how many people came tonight.
  • How many views and taps your Kor Nokta promotion got.
  • Publish an offer just for tonight.

No account to create: we give your venue a private link that opens on a phone. It only shows totals — who lit a kor or who came is never revealed to any venue.

FAQ

Good questions.

What is a kor?

An “I’m here” signal you light while you’re at a venue. It burns for 1, 2 or 3 hours; people nearby see how many kors are lit there.

Is my location shared?

No. What shows is the venue’s name, not your coordinates. People more than 1 km away see only the kor count, not who.

Is this a dating app?

No. Kor shows what’s happening in the city when you go out: events, venues, your friends. Meeting new people is optional — you can only be messaged when you say you’re open to it.

Where do events come from?

From the public event listings of ticketing platforms. You always buy tickets on the event’s own ticketing page; Kor doesn’t sell tickets.

Does it cost anything?

Kor is free. There’s an optional Premium membership with extra features.

How do I delete my account?

In the app under Settings, or by following the steps on the account and data deletion page. Account and data deletion
