Rights holders and content objections
Don't want your information, name or image on Kor? You can email support@getkor.app; we take the content down as soon as we receive your request.
1. What Kor shows
To show what's happening in the city tonight, Kor brings together publicly available event and venue information: the date, time, venue, title and image that organizers and ticketing pages publish openly, and venue names and locations from public datasets (Data Licenses). You always buy tickets on the event's own ticketing page; Kor does not sell tickets.
2. Who can make a request
An organizer, ticketing platform, venue or business; an artist, an artist's representative or anyone else named in event information; the owner of an image, text or trademark. Anyone who does not want their information, name or image used on Kor can use this process. It also covers copyright and trademark requests, personality and privacy requests, and reports of incorrect information.
3. How to make a request
You can email support@getkor.app with the subject “Rights holder request” and, if possible, include:
- your name and (if you write on behalf of an organization) the organization's name;
- the content you want removed: the event or venue name, date and city, or a screenshot from the app;
- what your request is about (for example, I don't want my name used, this image is mine, this information is wrong) and, if you wish, whether it should also apply to similar content in the future.
You can write even if some of this is missing; if we cannot find the content, we will ask you.
You can also send a personality-rights or copyright complaint, a court order or a request from an authority at getkor.app/en/official-request; requests sent this way are recorded and resolved within the periods set by law (Terms of Service, section 15).
4. What we do
- We remove it right away: we take the content down as soon as we receive your request, and in any case within 24 hours. We do not wait for you to prove your rights before removing it.
- Verification: if a request clearly affects someone else's rights (for example, a rival asking us to remove an organizer's event) or requests repeat, we may ask for reasonable information to verify that you hold the rights. We use it only to handle the request; if the request turns out to be unfounded, we may publish the removed content again.
- Keeping it off: content we removed is not shown again when the same source record comes back. If the same content is published again at its source, or under a different record, and you tell us, we remove that right away too; we also make reasonable efforts to honor your request for similar content in the future.
- Reply: we confirm by email that we received your request and tell you what we did.
5. Content posted by users
If you see content in a user's profile, message or added venue that infringes your rights, use Report in the app or write to the same address. How to appeal our decisions about user content is described in section 15 of the Terms of Service.
A venue or business can report a venue contribution about it the same way. We remove the contribution if it infringes rights (copyright, personality or privacy), shows an identifiable person, contains personal information, states a clearly false fact, accuses someone of a crime, was left by an insider or in exchange for a benefit, or otherwise breaks the Community Guidelines. We do not remove a contribution just because it is negative or unflattering. For this paragraph, review under these criteria applies instead of the “we remove it right away” rule in section 4; we tell the contributor about the decision and how to appeal (Terms of Service section 15). If you see yourself, your child, someone you know or your employee in a venue photo, you can ask for it to be removed at getkor.app/fotograf-kaldir even without an account; we hide the photo right away and decide within 24 hours.
6. Other rights
This process does not limit any other rights you have under applicable law (for example, your rights over your personal data: Privacy Policy; or your right to go to court). Knowingly making a false request may infringe the rights of others; in that case we reserve our legal rights.
